We Cruise NEXT month

It is December finally. We cruise next month. 34 sleeps.

Indian Visa

I picked up our passports today from the Indian Visa place in the city. It is official we can visit India.
The Mozambique Visa is one the ship will get for us. it has gone up this month to $50, it was only listed as $25 up until now. Still better to let them do it, as it will cost hundreds to do ourselves because they are not processed in Australia.

Sri Lanka Visa

Only 10 weeks til we leave and I now have the dilemma with Sri Lanka Visa. It is not listed/mentioned on the Princess site. We NEED a visa ....the High Commission says we need a tourist Visa. So do I get one or not, Cruisers that have been to Sri Lanka are saying that the ship organised the visas they did not have to get their own. I just wish Princess would tell me one way or the other if they do it or I have to apply myself.
PS Have decided not to get a visa. If they do not let us off the ship, so be it. They have not listed it as a document we have to present on embarkment, like the Indian Visa, so I am not going to do it.

Down to Double Figures

The countdown is finally down to double figures. Will finalize payment for safari this month and also start to think about which clothes will need to be considered for packing.

130 days to go

Only 130 days til Africa cruise. Excursion research going very badly. It is hard to find private tours to fit our time in ports.

170 days

170 days...The countdown is ticking away at a rapid pace now.  Only 160 days til Xmas, closely followed by New Year and then the cruise.

175 days..

The countdown has reached 175 days.
This week Princess accepted our request for deviation from scheduled cruise itinerary. We can officially leave the ship for 3 nights and do our Safari.

230 Days til...

...we leave Adelaide.
I have tours to organise, lots of research ahead.

Dreaming of Africa

Sure hope we get to see these beauties in person.

250 Days

250 Days til we start our biggest cruise adventure yet. 50 days of cruising. We will start with a little 4 day West Australian coastal on the 4th of January 2016 and will follow up with 46 nights to South Africa return from Fremantle. This time the Sun princess will be our home.
